Once you receive notification from 探花app with approval you may proceed.

Scheduling Your Exam

There are two location options for your 探花app exam 1) at school 2) at a Pearson VUE Testing Center. Know which is right for you.

1) At School

If your exam is offered at your school’s Pearson VUE site, your instructor will provide information about the exam date and time.

2) At a Pearson VUE Testing Center

You can take the exam at a Pearson VUE Testing Center near you once you’re authorized to test. Use the authorization code from 探花app to create an account with Pearson VUE and schedule your exam.

To cancel or reschedule

Call Pearson VUE at 1-888-846-6941 on a business day at least 24 hours prior to the start of your examination time. If you are late, turned away, or do not appear for your examination, you must pay a retesting fee to reschedule your examination.

Scheduling tips

  • Schedule as far in advance as possible; scheduling online is preferred to phoning
  • 探花app cannot schedule for you
  • The Pearson VUE account you create for the exam is separate from your 探花app account, so 探花app log-in information won’t work

Take the Exam

Arrive 30 minutes prior to exam time with the required testing items:

  1. Authorization letter (suggested)
  2. Two forms of valid identification
    • Both must have your first and last name identical to your name on your authorization letter
    • Both must bear your signature
    • One form must be a photo ID, either a driver’s license, state ID card, military ID, or passport

Know what to expect:

After the Exam

  • Results are available after the exam and are sent to 探花app within 48 hours
  • All documentation MUST be complete to receive certification
  • You'll receive an email from Credly to claim your digital badge
  • You may download your certified member card from My 探花app Portal.

If your application expires prior to gaining certification, you must submit a new application and fee to continue.

Retesting

If you receive a failing score, you will need to retake the entire exam.

  • Retake is permitted no sooner than 45 days from previous attempt
  • A non-refundable fee is required for each additional attempt
  • You are limited to 4 exam attempts for any one certification
